On Wednesday, Amazon announced the latest product of the Echo line. The latest skill for Alexa will have her become your personal fashion consultant. By combining photos with machine learning the Echo Look aims to help you “look your best”. Of course, this is in addition to doing everything else we already love, like being able to order from Amazon and streaming music.

Using only voice commands you can take full length photos and short videos that you can then view in the companion app. This lets you “see yourself from every angle” when deciding on that perfect outfit. Taking photos builds you personal Lookbook that allows you to browse your past outfits and easily share them with friends. Echo Look will also help you discover new brands and styles inspired by your Lookbook

Armed with four LEDs and a depth sensing camera, the Echo Look blurs the background of your full length photos. This brings you and your outfits front and center.

Can’t decide between two outfits? The “Style Check” feature of the Echo Look can give you a second opinion. Style Check is powered by machine learning algorithms and fashion experts. The Style Check skill can be enabled here. According to Amazon:

Style Check keeps your look on point using advanced machine learning algorithms and advice from fashion specialists. Submit two photos for a second opinion on which outfit looks best on you based on fit, color, styling, and current trends. Over time, these decisions get smarter through your feedback and input from our team of experienced fashion specialists.

The Look is priced at $200 but don’t get too excited yet as you have to request an invite before you can buy it.
